6 Months - Family Visits, Swings, and Sun!

May brought sunshine and family our way!!

Helping mom do laundry!

She really wanted some Guarana(highly caffeinated Brazilian drink, don't worry she didn't have any)

Rocking her awesome shoes!

Striking a pose!

Uncle Nick(one of Abram's best friends from high school) came for another visit.

Alivia was fascinated by him!

Alivia also got a visit from her cousin Julianna(and Kassy and Josh!)

And her Great Aunt Nancy! She loved the attention!

We've had this hat to give away as a present for 4 years I think.
But coming from the nerdy family I do I figured I should have her try it on!

Alivia's first time in the swings! She wasn't so sure about it.

Mother/Daughter Converse Pic!

Hanging with her friends Nora and Olivia(and Curtis who was sleeping in his stroller) at the park!

Still not even sure how this happened!!

6 Month Checkup:

Weight: 13 lbs 14 oz (9%)
Height: 26.75 inches (75%)
Head: 16.75 (52%)

5 Months, Rice Cereal, and Easter!

Alivia has started to become even more independent, wanting to "sit" on her own even more. We tried starting her on rice cereal(didn't go very well at first, picture below). And after a month of rolling from her back to stomach (getting mad because she hated being on her stomach) she finally rolls both ways! We also celebrated our first Easter with her! Holidays are a lot more fun with a little one to share them with!

Because just having the toy in her mouth can't be enough, she needs to hang on to the other one at the same time!

Starting to dig through her first Easter Basket!

Abram's special Easter treat. I've been hearing about these for 5 years! It is a hallow chocolate egg that they had on his mission in Brazil.

Livi liked it too!

what the inside looks like

Talking and laughing with Daddy. Baby laughs are one of the best sounds in the world!

Easter pictures with baby girl!

And her first try of rice cereal. I guess it was pretty traumatizing.
Luckily she got over it a couple of weeks later!

Love her cute smiles she gives us...someday she will share them with people other than mom and dad!

Holding onto dad's hand with her hands and her feet.

4 Months - Talking up a storm!

4 Months brought lots of fun. Alivia now loves to talk, had her first trip down the slide, visits from Grandma and Grandpa Clove, and even her first real giggles!

Reading with Daddy

Teaching her young!

Grandpa Clove taking Alivia on a walk in the park!

She loves Grandma Clove!

And all of the attention and reading that comes with her!

Having some fun in Williamsburg with

Height: 25 inches (69%)
Head: 16 inches (48%)

Love this little girl!

3 months and Blessing Day!

Alivia was blessed at the beginning of February. One of the downsides to moving so far away from everyone was that unfortunately we weren't able to celebrate her special day with family. We decided to do it in our ward in Virginia and were lucky enough to have an amazing group of friends and ward family to support us.

Self-timer family picture! We are so bad at taking pictures and having people take family pictures of us.

Alivia was able to wear the same dress that I wore when I was blessed.

Happy Girl!

Tebow-sleeping

The weather was finally nice enough that we took Alivia for her first walk in the park!

Love her eyes!

I'm fast learning that trying to get a group of kids to take a nice picture doesn't work out very well! This was at a friends Superbowl party. We will just say Alivia wasn't sad because of the outcome of the game.

More Smiles
