At the beginning of June we flew back to the west coast for some family vacations. First up we went to Northern California to visit extended family. We took a couple of days to go to San Francisco with my parents. Unfortunately dad got sick after getting there, so he ended up missing our first day of adventures. But was with us the next day when we went to Alcatraz. Here are a few highlights. We ate at Bubba Gumps. We had sourdough bread bowls with soup. We went to Alcatraz, China Town, Pier 39, Lombard Street, drove across the Golden Gate Bridge, and rode the trolley.

Abram's first quick trip to San Francisco was a success and we always love spending time with the extended Clove family!
