Random December

December for us was packed full with craziness! I had 2 different company parties that we went to, we were in charge of a group at Abram's works Sub for Santa, and still had all of the other usual festivities. So here is the random stuff other than Christmas from our December.

Abram works for APX Alarm(now Vivint). Every Christmas time they put on a huge Sub for Santa program. We were able to be in one of the groups last year and experience it. This year Abram and I were put in charge of a group. APX raised $120,000.00 this year. They help more then 1,800 underprivileged children. It is one of the most amazing experiences and it really helps us get into the true Christmas spirit when we are able to help parents provide a Christmas for their children. First we gather all together to learn who we are going to be shopping for then we hit the stores, making sure that each child on our list receives a book, 2 pieces of clothing, and toys. The next day we go back to APX to wrap up the gifts and get everything ready to deliver. Then we head out to deliver the gifts to the families on our list. It is a very humbling experience. I'm so grateful that we were able to be a part of it again this year.

For my work party for Provo River Constructors they took us on the Heber Valley Railroad. It was pretty long but it was entertaining and fun for Abram to be able to meet people that I work with.

Abram acting like he was having a lot of fun! It was his first time on a train and the whole motion sickness thing did not help that out!!

Random October!

After conference, Abram's brother Rogan stayed down here for a week to hang out with all of us. We went on a triple date with Abram's brothers. We went to the formal BYU homecoming dance up at the Living Planet Aquarium. It was so much fun and the first formal dance Abram and I have been to together!
We also carved pumpkins right before halloween with the family when we were up at his aunt and uncles house.
Everyone working on their pumpkins.

Conference Weekend

Abram's family came down for conference in October and we all went as a family. Afterwards we took pictures around temple square.
Abe and his Mom. There is a stupid piece of dust that got on my lense when they checked my camera at the conference center so excuse the random glare on Abe's face!!
Rogan, Kendell, and Rae making pretty faces
Abram, his parents, and siblings.

The whole family...minus Wyatt.

First Day of School!!

I'm so bad at writing on our blog so I am playing a little catch up! After a busy summer, Abram started up Fall Semester at BYU. He will be going year round until the Summer of 2012 so it was bitter sweet. Going that much means that he will be able to graduate by Spring of 2013 but it also means that we don't really have a break at all. Half way through Fall semester we decided to have Abram only work part time so that he would have more time to focus on school. It has helped out a lot and I get to see a lot more of him! We are lucky that I have the job that I have so that Abram will be able to focus on school more.
