Ragnar!!!

So for those of you who don't know what it is the Ragnar Relay Race is a place where hundreds of crazy people get together to run their hearts out! The Ragnar is a 12 man relay race. It is 188 miles long and goes from Logan, Utah to Park City, Utah along the back side of the Wasatch Mountains! There are about 1000 teams that end up running. So there are tons of people there!!! Abram was the last runner on his team so he ended up having to run up the road that leads to the Canyons.(those of you that know how steep that is will understand how not fun that sounds!) Ya, doesn't sound fun to me AT ALL but I married a runner so he loves it. It was a really fun experience though! Each team needs to have 3 volunteers that help out with stuff at the race. I was one of the team's volunteers and it was really fun. Mostly we just stood there and told cars to slow down!!(They for sure didn't listen!)

About a week or so before the Ragnar while we were in Washington for Rogan's Graduation we found out that Rogan was coming down to run the same race Abe was!!! I didn't end up seeing Rogan at all...talked to him like 50 times but I was at the mall with one of the other guys girlfriends when he was at the end of the race. Abram got to see him a few times though.

These pictures were taken right after he finished his last race! You can't tell in this picture but he has a Euro Mullet...for those of you, who like me, didn't know what that meant it is the one lots of soccer players had where it is nicely cut along the sides and a little in the back so you can't even tell its a mullet unless you are looking from the right angle.

I swear he was happy! Just really tired!

The whole team!!!! At least half of the team was from APX and those who weren't were related!!
I had a lot of fun and so did Abram!!!

Run to Walk Race

At the beginning of May, Abram and some people from his department at work all signed up to do a fun run. Abram was sick and hadn't been running in a while but he still did an awesome job and finished first of all of the people that he went with from work.

Abram's Co-worker, Andrew, trying to get ready to run. I love how awake all of these guys looked at the beginning of the day!

Abram's boss, Becki, getting ready. She looks more awake.

Abram so excited to run, and looking like he is still asleep.

Picture of Jacob. We didn't expect him to be running that fast so my camera totally wasn't ready!

Abram's manager Becki.

The whole APX tech support supervisors group after the race. At least people look more awake now!! I love all of these guys. He works with an awesome group of people!

My 22nd Birthday

Back in June I turned 22. Abram just planned something small and we went to Pirate Island with his Aunt and Cousins. We had never been before and it was actually pretty entertaining and the pizza wasn't bad. It was really nice of them to take the time to celebrate with me.

The pizza there is HUGE!!

Rogan's Graduation

Abram's little brother, Rogan, graduated from high school in June. Abram and I drove up to Washington for it with Abram's sister Rachael and our nephew Wyatt. But before we went to graduations we got to go to a Seattle Sounders Soccer game. It was AMAZING!! And we ended up finding out that Abram's best friend from high school Nick was at the game so we sat with him for the first half.
Qwest field...Where the Seahawks and the Sounders play. SOOO COOL!
Abram on his way!

Our seats were really close to the field thanks to friends from Wenatchee. I love the Cards.

Wyatt and Rogan after graduation.

Abram with his friends from high school Stefan and Nick. I love these guys! And watching Abram with them is so much fun. I make fun of him that his face in this picture is so much happier then it was in any of our wedding or engagement pictures.

Me with them. Wish we could see them more often.

Abram and his siblings at Rogan's graduation(minus Bryce)

Rogan with his mom and dad.

Abram, Rogan, and Kendell. So funny side note you can kinda see the shirt that Rogan is wearing under his robe. It was Abram's senior shirt. We found it entertaining that he wore Abram's senoir shirt to his graduation.

Abe with his long hair and scruff. (Growing his hair out for the mullett he had a few weeks later...pics to come)
Bryce and Rachael's excitement to be at graduation.

All in all it was a good mini vacation. It was fun to spend time with friends and family!!

Summer Vacation...Finally posting

So it has been a LONG LONG time since I have actually posted! Not tons has been going on in our lives. Abram and I have been super busy working all the time and Abram going to school. We haven't had very much time to ourselves but we are working on figuring out our schedules to be able to get everything done that we need to and still have some time together.
I'm working 50 - 55 hours a week on average right now. I'm still working for Ames Construction but I am working on the I 15 Core project that is expanding I 15 from Spanish Fork to Lehi. I am in charge of getting all of the time cards together for my company and sending them in every week. I also gather the time cards for 2 different companies and scan all of the time card for those two and Ames individually for people to be able to look at. I'm enjoying it. There has just been a lot more responsibility and stress.
I am going to try to catch up on what has been going on with us since the beginning of the summer...It may take some time!
At the very beginning of the summer we took a trip to Southern California with our friends Chase and Rachel. It was a very fun filled, packed vacation! We ended up going to Disneyland, Real Salt Lake game vs the Chivas, Jay Leno Show, Santa Monica Pier, and lots lots more!!

Don't worry the answer is YES we did have enough food!

Chase and Abram getting the BBQ ready the first day that we were there.
Walking around Hollywood...I don't know why I love this picture so much!

Rachel and I at the Wax Museum.

Rachel, Chase, and Abram at the end of the Pier. It was super windy which was a bummer cause we never ended up getting in the water all vacation because of weather.

Abram and I on the Pier.

Abram's hair looks super old school! It was so windy and his hair was long!

Abram showing his excitement(ok so its a little forced) about going to Disneyland!

We had SO much fun on our little get away with Rachel and Chase and look forward to going on another with them when we all have the time!!!

I will keep working on writing more about what has been going on with us. We just got the internet at our house today!
