The update.....and a bat!

So I haven't updated in a very long time and not tons has changed. I am still working for Ames Construction and I like it a lot. Abram is working full time at APX Alarm as a supervisor in tech support and also taking a full school load. I am very proud of him for all that he does for us and don't get to see him very much. He usually leaves the house around 7:30 am and is back at 11:30 pm on a good day. I started to take a photoshop class on Tuesdays to occupy some of my time. I am loving it I just finished the beginning class and started the advanced one this week.

We moved last month to Springville to be a little closer to campus and not have as high of rent. I am finally getting used to our new place and we are planning what we are going to plant in the little spot for the garden out back! Just as I was getting used to being in a brand new place and never having Abram around, I had a wonderful visitor! A BAT!!! I didn't react well at all to its visit, OK to be honest I freaked out and Abram came home and saved me. I didn't have any desire to go back to the apartment alone after that since by the time Abram got there we didn't know where it was. We called the landlord and he came over later that day but couldn't find it. Since I was too scared to go home Abram's sister was nice enough to let me hang out at their house for a while and then I went to gymnastics by myself that night which turned out to be really fun. We ended up spending the night at Abram's aunt and uncle's house that night and then the next morning Abram went in with the landlord and looked through everything since we still had boxes EVERYWHERE!! They still didn't find it but tried to make sure that all of the wholes everywhere were patched up.

A couple of my friends from high school(Jesse and Jordan) came up to watch the New Mexico/BYU game so we went to that night(last weekend). Unfortunately BYU lost but we still had a good time! It was really good to see them again and I think they liked being in the student section with us.

After hanging out with them, we went home and I was feeling a little better about the bat situation. After being there for about and hour I got up to go to the bathroom and saw it sitting there on Abram's church bag. I handled it A LOT better that time and Abram took care of it. For the past few days I have just been trying to convince myself that there was only one and I've been trying not to freak out at every single sound!!

Us at the BYU/Utah game...I think!
We did sub for Santa with Abram's work and Abram got the back seat holding the bags of presents in the back of the car. It was very entertaining! We kept making fun of him when he talked because he was completely muffled! Sorry the picture is so dark I took it with my phone!

Abram's Dad and Uncle trying to break into his cousins car in Vegas. It was an adventure!

We don't have Internet at our new place so I don't really have very many pictures to put up right now but I will work on that! Sorry it has been forever since I have written anything I don't even know if anyone ever looks at it anymore but thanks to whoever does and I will work on being better and doing more fun stuff so I can actually post something!!!

Hahaha about the bat- did you know we have them in our chapel all the time! The best is when they come out during sacrament. And once one the the youth got bit ans had to get rabies shots. Now I will have made you even more paranoid.

We watched the BYU game at home and I like that you were there- makes me feel a little closer. Love from California. Our monkeys are getting huge and they need their cousins to come and hug and kiss them.

Hilarious. And scary. I would freak out, too. You need to ask Laura about her bat story. It's pretty funny. It involves a great deal of cursing in the ward house, which always makes for a good story.
